Founder
GizmoData was founded by Philip Moore, a United States Marine Corps veteran, an inventor, and former Oracle DBA of the Year for North America (2016).
Philip has 25 years experience building enterprise data solutions for companies such as: Procter & Gamble, Hewlett Packard, Dunnhumby, Macys, Kroger, 84.51º, Truck Cab Manufacturers, Voltron Data, and more. He helped pioneer novel RDBMS solutions to the Count Distinct Problem - by working with Oracle, Snowflake, and DuckDB to add native support for HyperLogLog and Bitmap-Or Count Distinct aggregation capabilities.
